Does the keyboard connect via Bluetooth?

No. It uses the Smart Connector — the same magnetic pins as the Apple Magic Keyboard. There is no pairing process and no separate charging; power and data flow the moment the case snaps on.

Do I need to charge the keyboard separately?

No. The keyboard draws power directly from the iPad through the Smart Connector.

Compatibility

Which iPad models fit?

iPad Pro 11-inch (all generations), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd to 6th generation), iPad Air 10.9-inch and 11-inch (4th generation and newer), and iPad 10th/11th generation. Always select your exact model and year before ordering.

Is the keyboard backlit?
